I want to log my key strokes to a file
by Tem2 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5RWRN)
I would like to keep track of my keystrokes so that I can go back and see a history of what kind of searches I've performed in my pdf files.
I've installed logkeys, but I can't figure out how to modify the keymap. The default keymap must be wrong for my keyboard, because the logfile does not show the keystrokes accurately.
Logkeys is great if I can map it right, but I am open to any other app that will do the same thing.
I installed Beelogger, but it the internal python program is pointing to a file that doesn't exist, so I gave up on it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as always.
I'm running Ubuntu 20.04
