One man sustained serious injuries early Sunday morning after a home invasion in central Hamilton.
Crews responded to the home on Victoria Avenue North, between Cannon and Robert streets, around 2:45 a.m. for a medical call.
A 37-year-old man was taken to hospital with traumatic injuries from an edged weapon," said Dave Thompson of the Hamilton Paramedic Service.
He remains in serious but stable condition.
It's unclear if any suspects were apprehended after the break and enter. Hamilton police did not respond to requests for comment.
