Browns activate Chubb off COVID-19 list ahead of bout vs. Lions
The Cleveland Browns activated running backs Nick Chubb and Demetric Felton off the COVID-19 list ahead of their Week 11 meeting with the Detroit Lions, the club announced.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski said after Friday's practice that Chubb is good to go for Sunday's game, according to Zac Jackson of The Athletic.
Chubb missed the Browns' 45-7 defeat to the New England Patriots last week due to a positive COVID-19 test. D'Ernest Johnson received the start, rushing for 99 yards on 19 carries.
Chubb currently ranks third in the league in rushing with 721 yards. His 6.0 yards per attempt is also tied for the best mark in the NFL (min. 100 carries).
The 25-year-old has been part of a Browns rushing attack that is averaging 154.1 yards per game this season.
Cleveland enters Week 11 with a 5-5 record and will look to get back on track against the Lions after losing two of its last three.
