Lamar questionable vs. Bears with illness, Brown out with thigh injury

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears after being added to the injury report Saturday due to a non-COVID-19 illness.

Jackson missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but he seemed set to play in Week 11 after returning for Friday's session and not initially receiving a health designation for the game.

Jackson is traveling with the team to Chicago, a source told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Baltimore also downgraded wide receiver Marquise Brown to out Saturday due to a thigh injury. Brown leads the Ravens with 719 yards and six touchdown catches.

Tyler Huntley would likely get the start If Jackson can't play, with Trace McSorley moving from the practice squad to act as backup.

Baltimore is in a highly competitive race for the AFC North crown, with two games separating all four teams. The 6-3 Ravens lead the division ahead of the 5-3 Pittsburgh Steelers, 5-4 Cincinnati Bengals, and 5-5 Cleveland Browns.

Jackson is in the midst of another MVP-caliber campaign. The 24-year-old has thrown for 2,447 yards and 14 touchdowns against eight interceptions while adding 639 yards and two scores on the ground.
