Report: Rodgers likely needs to play through toe injury for rest of season
Aaron Rodgers won't be at full strength as the Green Bay Packers look to make a Super Bowl run.
The MVP quarterback will likely need to play through his current toe injury for the rest of the season, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network
Rodgers has refused to say how he suffered the injury. He appeared on the injury report ahead of last week's win over the Seattle Seahawks after Green Bay activated him from the COVID-19 list.
The 37-year-old didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday and was limited to just 15 reps Friday, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
The Packers hope Rodgers' injury will improve over their Week 13 bye, but there is concern about his lack of practice time moving forward, added Pelissero.
Rodgers has thrown for 2,186 yards and 17 touchdowns against four interceptions in nine appearances this season. Green Bay will look to earn its ninth win of the campaign Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
