Hello,
I'd like your suggestions about how to prevent processes from consuming large
amounts of disk I/O (my current performance bottleneck) on my desktop
computer. The disk I/O peak eventually leads to a complete system freeze,
requiring me to use magic keys to kill everything and resurrect the system
/ bring it back from its lethargy.
