If aliens touched down in Hamilton, where would they go for a cocktail?

While the answer to that question is not forthcoming, a new eatery and bar on Barton Street East may welcome extraterrestrial visitors with open arms.

Roswell, named after the famous town in New Mexico, opened this month at 353 Barton St. E., ready to serve earth food and libations" to humans.

Distant visitors of the business, near Emerald Street North, will have to sort through conspiratorial and out-of-this-world menu items, such as the chicken and rice-based Area 51 bowl, a hotdog called The Abduction and a citrus/egg/vodka drink named Sparkled and Probed.

Formerly Stardust, a short-lived cocktail bar that opened in 2019, the location has the look of a diner, but bathed in blue neon light.

The earth-based owners behind Stardust announced a summer transformation on their Instagram in February. Then they announced a reopening on Nov. 4.

They're currently open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights after 6 p.m., also Saturday and Sunday for lunch.

UFO parking is not available.
