Screensaver Screwing up Budgie Desktop
by Quee from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5SBKF)
I should have learned my lesson by now....just forget the #@$& screensaver....but I haven't. I'm like a magpie, I like flashy colors and things that move. I was trying to get the Xscreensaver to autostart, and now my Budgie desktop is gone. I can usually fix it by uninstalling Budgie, re-installing and reconfiguring. But this time it is not working.
I uninstalled budgie and reinstalled from the command line and it seemed to go fine. But when I look in Apps I do not see anything related to Budgie, so I can't configure anything. When I go to Software, it indicates it is not installed. When I try to install it there, it says it is installed. But again, I can find no Budgie apps on my computer.
Any ideas on how to get budgie back?
