Eclipse for .NET

When I search for tools for doing .Net development using Eclipse I find the following.Does anyone have experience with either? I understand that anything that can be done using Eclipse won't be as complete and convenient as Visual Studio but I am interested in exploring how much can be done. I will be very impressed if it is possible to develop ASP.Net Core web applications using Eclipse.
