Hello Newbie Here

Hello. My name is Rick, & I am new here. I am a frequent distro hopper, with a very short attention span. I've tinkered with distros that range from Manjaro, Fedora, to Debian/Ubuntu. All of my tinkering is done through VMware Fusion (weaning myself off Apple, is another separate subject). For now, (& despite my short attention span) I've decided to focus back on Slackware. I've used it long time ago, but feel like it's time to get back to understanding the inner workings of Linux. I feel like I want to understanding what is happening "under the hood," instead of being dependent on a GUI. Because I am slow learner, I will probably be here frequently. Thanks in advance for your patience with my questions & technical limitations. -Rick
