Matthew Stafford is struggling with his health heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

The Los Angeles Rams quarterback's injuries include a sore ankle, discomfort in his throwing arm and elbow, and chronic back pain, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini.

Stafford was plagued by injuries during his final two years with the Detroit Lions before the Rams acquired him this past offseason.

The veteran missed the second half of the 2019 campaign due to a back injury. He played in all 16 games last season but dealt with a torn thumb ligament, a chest injury, and an ankle sprain.

Stafford performed at an MVP level while leading Los Angeles to a 7-1 start, but his play has dipped during the Rams' two-game losing streak. He's thrown just two touchdowns against four interceptions while averaging 6 yards per attempt.

Despite his injuries, the 33-year-old is set to start in a pivotal NFC clash against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
