fcitx Modifiers

I pulled the latest current-iso today and noticed the environment variables for fcitx are not being set after setting additional languages. I have historically used an 'fcitx.sh' file in /etc/profile.d which has:

export QT_IM_MODULE=fcitx
export XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitxAfter setting that all is well. Is this something that should be included in the install or should this be the job of the DE to set as part of its regional settings configuration ?
