Report: Washington's Thomas likely has torn ACL, MCL
Washington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas will undergo tests to confirm suspected season-ending ACL and MCL tears, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Thomas was ruled out with a knee injury Sunday versus the Las Vegas Raiders shortly after exiting the game. The 30-year-old was returning from a seven-game absence caused by a hamstring injury.
Thomas was a key contributor last season in Washington's run to the NFC East title. The converted quarterback had 72 receptions for 670 yards and six touchdowns in 2020, leading to a contract extension before the 2021 campaign.
Washington went on to defeat the Raiders without Thomas, earning its fourth straight win and bumping its record to 6-6.
