Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn pectoral in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, head coach John Harbaugh announced Monday.

Humphrey was one of two Pro Bowl cornerbacks on the Ravens coming into the season. The other, Marcus Peters, tore his ACL before Week 1. Anthony Averett, Jimmy Smith, and Tavon Young head the rest of the depth chart.

Humphrey entered Week 13 leading the Ravens with 13 pass breakups. He also had one interception, a forced fumble, and 55 tackles. Humphrey's been one of the NFL's top corners since 2019, with Baltimore deploying him on the perimeter and in the slot depending on specific matchups.

The Ravens lost to the Steelers after failing on a two-point conversion attempt, opting to go for the win rather than force overtime. Harbaugh said Baltimore's cornerback situation contributed to his decision to have the offense try to win the game.

Despite the loss, the Ravens still sit atop the AFC North at 8-4. Baltimore has placed 33 players on injured reserve this season, tied for second-most in the NFL with the New York Jets.
