pamac is trying to install packages into my pc.. where to see it and disable it ?
by andrewysk from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5SQQN)
I was trying to install a software to test out few days ago.. but pamac prompted me that i am running out of space... 0%. at / root folder.
Hence i ceased everything, the package that i wanted to try out, and including update and upgrade manjaro kde system (which i have not upgrade for a month already).
Now, i have removed cache and freed out 11 GB, and hence i wanted to do system upgrade and update first.
But i have forgotten which package i was trying to download with pamac before all these out of space warning.
I can't do a upgrade / update my system with pamac now, becuase whenever i click "updates > apply" ,it prompts me to download 16 packages (which i don't know what they are.. I don't know are they suppose to download these packages to do upgrade / update ?? or those files are belong to the software package i was planing to installed which i no longer want to install anymore?).
These 16 packages includes:
phyton-websockets, python-mutagen, yt-dlp, protobuf-c, vulkan-tools, wayland-utils, yasm, mhwd-nvidia-470xx, libopenmpt, libxcvt, dkms ..etc
When i clicked "cancel' to deny download these packages, pamac will send me back to square one.. Hence can't upgrade/ update via pamac.
Please advice.
Thx
