Use the dkms install command to reinstall any previous module version.

After I did sudo apt update, it says no original module was found and to reinstall it....

So, do I simply use the command Code:dkms installand the system will know which module to reinstall?
I do not have root priveledges so, does the command need to be changed at all to include sudo ?
