Baloo Bug with Snapshots File System

I know the Baloo developers know this bug! I saw it filed there.
As we are talking open source, maybe someone can contribute sorting this bug out if the developer is so busy.
The bug is with BTRFS file system, when it takes a snapshot, Baloo indexes again all files in the snapshot.
So there are quite a few issues here which I find really serious:
1. the index keeps growing
2. search results have multiple results all pointing to the same file.
3.the machine gets burdened with reindexing.
Maybe the simple solution to this is to get Baloo recognize that this file is in a snapshot and not index it again.
I don't know if BTRFS developers would be intersted in sorting it out.
