How to connect to Time Capsule drive - Elementary OS
by Slavetothemachine from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5SXJD)
Hi,
My first post. A very new convert to Linux from MacOS, so I am used to a simple (yet restricted) interface with my computer.
I would like to connect to my Airport Time Capsules, as my other half has her photos stored there.
Logically (to me), I would go into the files app, select Entire Network, click on the Airport icon (afp version), but when I enter User Name and Password I get the error unable to mount folder.
If instead I try - Connect server, I can complete Type - AFP, IP Address, User Name and Password. Leave folder blank. I dont know what to put in port so I leave as it is set. I hit connect, and it says connecting and just stays like that forever.
Any help would be most appreciated.
