Update Zoom
by magster from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5SXTZ)
I have an appointment Monday on Zoom. I found it and logged in. It says a new version is available.I clicked update chose linux mint and I am not clear on what to do, and in what order to do it....
.
The page has a download button. It also has a highlighted spot to download the public key.
Also this :
Code:Zoom's rpm packages are signed with a GPG key. Please run "rpm --import package-signing-key.pub" to import the key in case package management utility asks for a missing public key.#1 Do I first click download for the new version? It will be deb (for Mint 17.1+)
Version 5.8.6 (739)
#2 Then enter command Code:rpm --import package-signing-key.pub ?
#3 Or click the spot that says to download public key , rather than use the command to do that ?
#4 Or do I do #2 or #3 first before downloading Zoom in #1 ?
I am being extra cautious because I need to use zoom in 2 days.
Thanks in advance for help on this.
