Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Petr Mrazek is starting on Saturday night against the Chicago Blackhawks, head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed, according to Postmedia's Lance Hornby.

Mrazek hasn't played since Oct. 30 after re-aggravating a groin injury. He's only appeared in two games this season, posting a .877 save percentage and 4.20 goals-against average.

The Leafs signed Mrazek to a three-year contract worth $3.8 million annually this past offseason. The hope was he would form a strong tandem with Jack Campbell, who instead has taken the job and run with it in Mrazek's absence.

Mitch Marner was placed on long-term injured reserve to make room for Mrazek's activation, per CapFriendly.
