Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer denied a recent report of tension between himself and the organization on Sunday and threatened to fire the source if the leak was internal.

"Starting leaking some information or nonsense? That's garbage," Meyer said following Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans, according to Albert Breer of The MMQB. "If there is a source, then that source is unemployed. I mean, within seconds."

A report emerged Saturday claiming the first-year NFL coach had multiple run-ins with players and staff. Wide receiver Marvin Jones reportedly left the facility for a brief period due to Meyer's criticism and had to be convinced by assistants to return; assistant coaches were also apparently called losers by the head coach.

Meyer said postgame Sunday that he and Jones are on good terms following a conversation, according to team reporter Ashlyn Sullivan.

He also denied calling his assistant coaches losers but admitted he's demanding and honest with them, per Sullivan.

Meyer's first year with the Jaguars has been filled with controversy and disappointing results. The Jaguars fell to 2-11 after a 20-0 loss to the Titans on Sunday.

He also came under fire for his usage of running back James Robinson prior to the contest. Robinson finished with six carries for four yards.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan is reportedly not considering a change at head coach.
