Add a USB FingerPrint reader to Linux Mint 20.2

I want to add a USB finger print reader to my Lenovo Ideapad-710S-13ISK with Mint 20.2 installed. I bought the Benss reader that was listed as working with Linux. However, I'm having difficulty finding info on setting it up, software, drivers, etc. I found one recent link for Ubuntu fingerprint reader setup. It shows a Fingerprint reader "enable" option in the user profile. My Mint user profile (Administrator) has no such options. Any suggestions?
