Something full - login looping

Linux Mint. Installed video capture and was trying to use. Nothing seemed to happen but it appears capture was happening in background. Later, tried to save a Libre doc and got messages /pop up saying that something was full and needed to be emptied. It wasn't c or external drive, more something internal. tried to follow prompts, but again nothing happening. Eventually rebooted, but now, when I enetr login/password, screen loops back and re-asks for login/password. Seems to accept password because if I put the wrong password, it identifies that it is wrong. Is there any way of guessing want needs to cleared/emptied and performing it from grub prior to boot?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=eGyJ8ELkypc:C4NezcB41Y4:F7zBnMy latest?i=eGyJ8ELkypc:C4NezcB41Y4:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=eGyJ8ELkypc:C4NezcB41Y4:gIN9vFw
