Introductory posting, but I've been a passive member for some time.

I've been using Linux Mint for the past couple of years on one of my former Windows laptops that suffered a hard drive failure. New drive and new operating system--Linux Mint & Cinnamon. It quickly became my favorite, but I continue to need a Windows computer, too, for compatibility with work needs. Of course, I've made a number of significant blunders, one of which lead to Python being damaged or removed from my Linux computer.

Obviously, I have plenty of learning to do, and passive searching of this forum has been very helpful. I'm very thankful for the things that I have learned here so far!
