Pros and Cons of staying with current versus switching to 15.0

I run slackware64-current on my desktop, switching from official 14.2-64 about a year ago. Prior to that I had always run the newest official 64bit release and upgraded whenever a new one arrived. Then there was the looongg gap, and eventually packages no longer did quite what I wanted, e.g. the provided firefox no longer able to access most internet pages, kernel missing some of the latest driver changes, compiler too old, etc etc. I did not spend enough time to try to update the old 14.2 from SBo and elsewhere as I did not have the time. After switching to current, mirroring it, and upgrading it every so often, spending only a minimal amount of time to skim through the changelog and then accepting everything, I have been fine ever since. I think there may be a few others who have arrived at current by this route.

When 15.0 is officially available (i.e. the absolutely final this-is-it version, not a rc), is there any advantage or disadvantage in switching back to it? I've tried to piece together pros and cons but can't get a good overall picture.

I realize it's probably very personal to a particular user's system and typical use but if anyone has any specific thoughts on this I'd welcome hearing them here. Please be detailed, i.e. "15.0 will be more stable than current" is too vague even if true.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=6Ick6NmRWb8:suUuMtF0l3Y:F7zBnMy latest?i=6Ick6NmRWb8:suUuMtF0l3Y:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=6Ick6NmRWb8:suUuMtF0l3Y:gIN9vFw
