Police say the 15-year-old was westbound on Stone Church when he was hit by a bus making a right turn onto Upper Wentworth.

The boy was transported by paramedics with life-threatening injuries to McMaster Children's Hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
