The New York Giants plan to start quarterback Jake Fromm over Mike Glennon against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, sources told Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post.

Fromm will be New York's third different starting signal-caller this season. The Giants began the 2021 campaign with Daniel Jones but turned to Glennon in Week 13 after Jones suffered a season-ending neck injury.

Head coach Joe Judge's decision to turn to Fromm was expected this week after Glennon struggled in three starts this year. Glennon went 0-3 while completing just 50.9% of his passes with two touchdowns against five interceptions.

Fromm, who attempted 12 throws in last week's blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys, joined the Giants in November after starting the season on the Buffalo Bills' practice squad. Buffalo drafted the 23-year-old in the fifth round last year.

The 4-10 Giants, losers of three straight, have averaged just 17 points per game in 2021.
