An MRI revealed Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire's collarbone injury isn't a season-ending issue and there's no structural damage, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Edwards-Helaire should return to action shortly, added Rapoport.

The running back was hurt in the third quarter of Sunday's 36-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The second-year pro missed five games earlier in the season with an MCL sprain. However, he still leads the Chiefs with 517 rushing yards.

If Edwards-Helaire is forced to miss game time, Darrel Williams and Derrick Gore will lead Kansas City's backfield.
