Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced wide receiver Michael Gallup is believed to have torn his ACL in Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals and will miss the rest of the season, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.

Gallup will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the injury.

The fourth-year wideout suffered the injury on a second-quarter touchdown reception. He immediately grabbed his left knee before exiting and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Injuries have plagued Gallup for most of the 2021 campaign. He missed seven games with a calf injury suffered in the season opener before returning in Week 10.

Gallup is scheduled to become a free agent this offseason. He has recorded 35 receptions for 445 yards and two touchdowns across nine games this year.
