Despite the recent rumors linking Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers to Nashville, the Tennessee Titans aren't moving on from quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Tennessee doesn't consider Rodgers to be an option under center, and the team plans to move forward with Tannehill, a source told Turron Davenport of ESPN.

The speculation linking Rodgers to the Titans began after Jared Stillman of 102.5 The Game reported that Rodgers is building a home in Franklin, Tennessee, and is open to joining the Titans.

The reigning NFL MVP was also subject to trade rumors last offseason after skipping some of Green Bay's activities amid a dispute with the franchise. He eventually reported for training camp on a reworked deal that reportedly could facilitate his potential exit from the Packers via trade.

Rodgers said he'll take "some time" to decide on his future after losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.

The three-time NFL MVP is expected to win the award for a fourth time this season after passing for 4,115 yards and 37 touchdowns against only four interceptions during the regular season.

Meanwhile, Tannehill posted arguably his worst season since joining the Titans in 2019. The 33-year-old, who was 12-5 as a starter in 2021, tossed only 3,734 yards and 21 touchdowns versus 14 interceptions. He also threw three interceptions in Tennessee's divisional-round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
