Hamilton police investigating Mountain shooting
No one was inured Friday night in a shooting on Hamilton Mountain that police say was targeted.
Officers were called to the area around Upper James Street near Duff Street - the neighbourhood north of Fennell Avenue - after 9 p.m.
Investigators found several spent bullet casings," Hamilton police said in a media release.
No injures were reported and there is no risk to public safety, police say. They are treating the incident as targeted.
In the incident, police say, a white SUV was being pursued by a black Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Police are looking for help from the public in their investigation. Specifically, residents are being asked to check security camera footage for the vehicles involved in the chase.
