Sean McVay hasn't guaranteed he'll be back to coach the Los Angeles Rams next season after their Super Bowl LVI victory.

"We'll see," McVay responded Monday when the Los Angeles Times' Dylan Hernandez asked whether he'd return in 2022.

McVay's response contrasted what he said Saturday when he told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that he was "committed" to both coaching and the Rams amid rumors of his interest in becoming a TV analyst.

The league's youngest bench boss explained Monday that he's living in the present following Los Angeles' win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

"I'm just enjoying this moment right now," McVay said, according to Hernandez. "I'm really happy to be a part of this. Happy for that."

However, the 36-year-old also acknowledged his love for coaching and leading players like Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp.

"I think the biggest thing that drove me this year was doing it with people like him," McVay said. "That drives you. I love coaching. I'm just so excited about this moment right now."

Speculation about McVay's future began last week when he spoke about prioritizing his family going forward. He reportedly was in line for an extension this offseason, with two more years left on his current deal.

McVay has been one of the NFL's most successful coaches since taking the Rams job in 2017, posting a 55-26 record.
