Hamilton city hall sign lit up blue and yellow in support of Ukraine
Hamilton's support for Ukraine remains vigilant as the sign at city hall was lit blue and yellow on Monday night.
Tuesday morning, reports from overseas are that a Russian missile strike has hit central square in Kharkiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, says 660,000 people have fled since the invasion began.

As well as the Hamilton sign being lit and flags flying, hundreds of Hamiltonians gathered in front of city hall Sunday to show their support as the world feels the reverberations of the Russian invasion which started only five days ago.

Honks of solidarity from passersby echoed through the downtown core, as chants of Slava Ukraini," which means glory to Ukraine," rang through the forecourt.
As well, the Canadian government is targeting the Russian state-controlled television channel RT as experts warn that foreign propaganda outlets imperil national security and undermine democracy.
