Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst insisted his inbox hasn't swelled with trade inquiries about Aaron Rodgers, contrary to a previous report.

"Not at all," he told reporters at the NFL combine Tuesday, according to Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated. "Not a single person."

ESPN reported Feb. 24 that multiple teams already had trade offers on the table for Rodgers, who's yet to decide between playing in 2022 or retiring. The Packers are reportedly preparing a short-term contract that would make the four-time MVP the highest-paid player in the NFL.

Gutekunst said he still believes Rodgers will make his decision in time for Green Bay to prepare accordingly; free agency begins March 16, and teams may begin contacting players on expiring contracts two days earlier.

"I would hope so, yeah," Gutekunst said. "That's, obviously, the start of the new league year. There's a lot of decisions that have to be made before that. So that would be helpful. I would think we would know something before then."

Rodgers has thrown 85 touchdowns with only nine interceptions over the last two years and picked up MVP awards at the end of both campaigns.
