The Brooklyn Nets fall 8th in the NBA's Eastern Conference standings after their loss to the Jimmy Butler-less Miami Heat. Kevin Durant made his return to the team after missing 21 games (Nets were 5-16 during that span) with a knee injury. Durant was dominant as he dropped 31 points in 35 minutes. Newly acquired Ben Simmons has yet to suit up and Kyrie Irving's status as a full-time participant is still undetermined. Ric Bucher determines if the Nets should be worried about their playoff hopes.
