Bucs, Jensen agree to reported 3-year, $39M contract

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are re-signing center Ryan Jensen, his agent told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jensen agreed to terms on a three-year, $39-million deal, a source told Schefter.

The 30-year-old was set to hit unrestricted free agency.

The Pro Bowl center has been one of Tampa Bay's most reliable blockers. He hasn't missed a start over the past four seasons with the Bucs, appearing in 65 regular-season contests and six postseason games.

Jensen's return provides stability for a Buccaneers offensive line following Ali Marpet's retirement last month.

The Colorado native spent the first four campaigns of his career with the Baltimore Ravens after the franchise selected him in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Jensen's new contract comes just hours after quarterback Tom Brady announced his return to Tampa Bay. Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette, and Alex Cappa are key pieces from the Bucs' 2021 roster expected to draw attention from teams ahead of free agency.
