Microsoft DirectStorage API Now Available on Windows PCs

Microsoft has announced the availability of the DirectStorage API on Windows PCs. Available for Windows 10 and Windows 11, the new Application Programming Interface should bring improvements to storage performance, and opens the door for gaming-specific acceleration in the future.
