Report: Gregory backs out of Cowboys deal to join Broncos
Randy Gregory had a change of heart about returning to the Dallas Cowboys.
Gregory spurned the Cowboys after initially signing with them earlier on Tuesday and agreed to the same terms with the Denver Broncos on a five-year, $70-million contract, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.
Gregory disagreed with the contract language included by the Cowboys, which led to him backing out of the deal, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Broncos weighed in on the Gregory development with a cheeky response of their own:

The 29-year-old made 11 starts last season, tying a career high with six sacks while recording a personal-best 17 quarterback hits.
Though the Cowboys lost Gregory, they did re-sign defensive lineman DeMarcus Lawrence to a three-year contract worth a reported $40 million on Monday.
Gregory was drafted by the Cowboys after he fell to the second round in 2015. Though he's missed time due to suspensions over his career, he's totaled 16.5 sacks over 50 games.
