The Pittsburgh Steelers signed former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack to a two-year contract, the team announced Thursday.

The pact is worth $16 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jack spent six seasons with the Jaguars after Jacksonville selected him in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The UCLA product notched 108 tackles and three tackles for loss in 15 contests last season.

The 26-year-old emerged as a leader in the middle of the Jaguars' defense during his tenure, racking up 513 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and three interceptions. Jacksonville released Jack on Tuesday ahead of the new league year.

Jack joins a Steelers unit that boasts Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt and Cameron Heyward.

Pittsburgh picks up another free agent addition to go along with James Daniels, Levi Wallace, and Mitchell Trubisky.
