Former Green Bay Packers pass-rusher Za'Darius Smith is not signing his deal with the Baltimore Ravens, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The 29-year-old reportedly agreed to a four-year, $35-million contract with a maximum value of $50 million with the team.

The Ravens thought they had a verbal agreement with Smith as of Wednesday but he ultimately changed his mind, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. While the possibility of a reunion is still possible, it seems unlikely a deal is salvageable at this point, Zrebiec added.

Smith is coming off a year hampered by a back ailment. He was able to play one regular-season game and returned to the field for the Packers' lone postseason contest.

Smith spent the first four seasons of his career in Baltimore where he tallied 119 tackles, 18.5 sacks, and 24 tackles for loss during his tenure.

Baltimore continues its search for pass-rushing specialists. Justin Houston, Calais Campbell, and Brandon Williams are unrestricted free agents.
