Microsoft Chooses Exotic "Topological Qubits" as Future of Quantum Computing

Microsoft has announced a breakthrough in demonstrating the theoretical feasibility of particularly exotic qubits, topological qubits, in an approach that isn't shared by any of its quantum competitors.
