Fake Cops Stole User Data from Meta and Apple
Last year, cybercriminals used phony law enforcement data requests to steal an unknown amount of user information from Apple and Meta. The data requests were submitted to the tech companies using hacked police email accounts, making them appear to be from legitimate government sources.
