The next provincial vote is June 2. But there are other important dates for voters and candidates to remember:

May 4: the election campaign officially begins;

May 5: special ballot voting is now allowed. That includes applying to mail in a ballot, voting at your local returning office or requesting a home visit by an election official if you are unable to leave your house for reasons like disability;

May 12: nominations close to provincial candidates;

May 19 to 28: advance poll period. Voting times are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., but specific local dates, times and locations will be announced later;

June 2: Voting day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
