Here's a list of what's open, what's closed, and when, over the long holiday weekend.
Easter weekend consists of Good Friday (April 15), Easter Sunday (April 17) and Easter Monday (April 18).
You will find most things closed Friday and Sunday.
City hall
Hamilton and Burlington administrative services are closed Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Hamilton garbage pickup on Friday is moved to Saturday. There are no changes to pickup on Monday.
Community recycling centres are closed on Friday and Sunday. Open Saturday and Monday.
Hamilton's licensing and bylaw phone queue line 905-546-2782 is closed on Friday and Monday.
Hamilton housing services office at 350 King St. E. is closed on Friday and Monday.
Ontario Works
The Ontario Works Program, including the Special Supports Program, is closed on Friday and Monday.
Vaccine clinics
Mountain Vaccine Clinic at Lime Ridge Mall is closed Friday. Visit hamilton.ca/GetYourVaccine for information about walk-ins, booking an appointment, and hours of operation.
The Hamilton Public Health hotline is closed over the holiday weekend and will reopen on Tuesday.
All Halton COVID-19 vaccination clinics are closed on Friday.
Libraries
All Hamilton-branch locations are closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday.
Burlington libraries are closed Friday and Sunday.
Transportation
HSR - Good Friday runs on a holiday schedule, Sunday runs on a regular Sunday schedule and Easter Monday is a regular weekday schedule.
DARTS reservations and on-street service operate on Sunday/holiday service on Friday and Monday. Subscription services are cancelled those days.
Burlington Transit will operate a Sunday schedule on Good Friday.
GO Transit is operating on a Sunday schedule on Friday.
Grocery and retail stores
Most stores are closed Friday and Sunday.
Hamilton Farmers' Market
Hamilton Farmers' Market is open Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (8 a.m. on Saturday).

Royal Botanical Gardens and trails are open with regular admission hours.
Museums and attractions
The Tropical Greenhouse at Gage Park is closed on Friday and Monday.
All Hamilton civic museums are closed Friday and Monday.

Hamilton's indoor pools, recreation centres, seniors centres, and arenas are closed on Friday and Monday.
Burlington indoor drop-in activities such as swimming, skating, and gym times are offered on a reduced schedule over the Easter long weekend.
Canada Post
Post offices are closed and there is no delivery Friday or Monday.
LCBO and Beer Store
LCBO is closed Friday and Sunday. Select LCBO stores will be operating under reduced hours Monday.
