Five men seriously injured after drive-by shooting in Scarborough
Multiples victims suffered serious injuries after a drive-by shooting in Scarborough early Saturday morning.
Toronto police were called to investigate a drive-by shooting in the area of Markham Road and Lawrence Avenue East just after 1 a.m.
Officers said they located five males inside a parking lot, who all suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The victims range in age from 28 to 35 years old, police said.
Two victims were transported to a trauma centre, two others to a hospital, and the fifth made his own way to the hospital, police added.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a blue car. Officers said they found casing and bullet holes in the area.
No further suspect information has been released.
