Brantford man dead after rollover on Hwy. 6 ramp in Ancaster
A 74-year-old Brantford man has died in a single-vehicle crash that closed the Highway 403 westbound ramp to Highway 6 South in Ancaster.
The ramp was closed for hours Saturday as Burlington OPP's collision reconstruction team investigated the rollover of a GMC truck towing a trailer just before 10 a.m.. The ramp reopened just before 2 p.m.
Investigators looking into possibility of a medical episode," OPP Highway Safety Division said in a statement.
It was the second major crash of the weekend in Hamilton. Three young men were taken to hospital with critical injuries after a car collided into a fence and concrete barrier above the rail tunnel under Hunter Street in downtown Hamilton Friday at 11 p.m.
