Black News Channel, or BNC, shut down in March after just 2 years after its launch. The television outlet boasted its majority stakeholder as Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan. Anchors included notable media personalities Marc Lamont Hill, Charles Blow and Sharon Reed.
