Hurricanes take down Bruins in Game 5 to nab 3-2 series lead

The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Boston Bruins 5-1 in Game 5 on Tuesday to take a 3-2 series lead.
The series will shift back to Boston for Game 6 on Thursday where the Hurricanes will have a chance to advance to Round 2.
Tony DeAngelo, Vincent Trocheck, and Teuvo Teravainen each had three points while Seth Jarvis added two goals.
Connor Clifton scored a goal midway through the third period to finally get the Bruins on the board, but it was too little too late.
Jeremy Swayman allowed four goals on the 37 shots he faced, while Antti Raanta stopped 34 of 35 shots.
