Hamilton police probing downtown shooting Saturday

Hamilton police are investigating an overnight shooting that occurred in the downtown core.
Police said in a release they responded to the area of John and King William streets around 2:30 a.m. Saturday for reports of possible shots fired.
Upon investigation, police confirmed a shooting occurred but no one was injured.
Detective are asking residents in the area to check to their security cameras and drivers to check their dash cams for any suspicious activity between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.
