Elderly man reported dead in backyard Burlington pool on Father’s Day

Police are investigating an incident that reportedly resulted in one man's death.

At roughly 2:30 p.m. on June 19 emergency services were called to the backyard of a Burlington home. An elderly man was reportedly discovered face down in the backyard pool of a quiet residential street.

Located on Ayr Place near the Walker's Line and Fairview Street intersection, the man was reported deceased.

Firefighters, paramedics and police responded to the call.

As of the afternoon of June 19, police were investigating the incident.
